Having noted the rich and varied cultural diversity on the territory of the Nantes city, the YOUKA LAB project propose highlighting emerging and local artists and to accompany them in their professionalization.

Artistic leimotiv
Youka Lab focuses mainly on artistic projects of a musical nature. The choice of these projects is based on the promotion of discovery, emergence, atypical and alternative, while remaining focused on current music.
DJ S8JFOU
Work in progress
Following a Master's Degree in Expertise of Professions and Institutions of Culture (EPIC), Aline Thouroude and Sarah Le Gallo wished to set up their own project. They want to defend artists, broadcast them and create original events. The first challenge they have launched with the association is to offer lunchtime concerts in places of high people concentration. They would give emerging artists a good profile and animate the public space in an original way.
S8JFOU is a DJ coming directly from the Nantes's scene. He has acquired over the years an experience that allows him to practice different arts. In addition to being a beatmaker, he made his own videos and studied art. It is also at the initiative of the concept 'Live at home'. And it is in collaboration with the YoukaLab that it will play at the festival Spot

The association Youka Lab will be present at the Spot festival through an original performance mixing music and an innovative type of painting: the cellograf! The aim is to create a unique and ephemeral work inspired by the music created live by the DJ S8JFOU.
